Upgrading tires found on your personal auto or a truck can certainly turn into a serious headache. There are so many things to consider – how often do you drive? How do you use your vehicle? What is the environment of the area where I usually drive? Another major point to consider anytime looking at car tires is what type of tire you actually need. Tires can usually be either winter, summertime or all-season types. They differ because of the design of the surface of the tire, and also the chemical elements of the rubber along with some other inner characteristics. You shouldn’t drive on winter tires throughout a summer and the other way around. And all-season auto tires are generally used where climate is moderate.

Mike F: Normally, I don’t give out five stars based on one visit but I just can’t give these guys any less than that. I went in to get my spare tire fixed. It had gone flat while on the car, so I swapped it out, put it in my trunk and brought it over here. The first good sign came when the guy noticed my “Green Bay Packer” license plate holder while getting the tire. He mentioned that it was the best possible license plate holder, thus demonstrating high moral character and general good taste. Then he took a look at the tire and told me that it was old enough that if it was punctured, he couldn’t fix it. Then he threw it on the tire machine and realized that the valve stem had cracked. He told me I hit the jackpot, put in a new valve stem, inflated the tire, and refused any payment for it. We talked football for a minute after that and then I was on my way.
How do you not give five stars for that? I’ll be coming here to get a couple new tires shortly.

Stephany D: I always come to America’s Tire Company whether I need new tires, my regular free rotation every 6,000 miles, or a flat repair. They are very helpful, knowledgeable, and fast. I always come for my regular rotation when they open at 8am and I’m in and out in 10 minutes as long as there aren’t a ton of people ahead of me.
Even if you haven’t purchased tires from them, they offer free flat repairs to everyone because they want to earn your business at some point. I find that pretty handy.
They have recommended new wheels and/or hubcaps to me at one time or another for aesthetic purposes, but considering that my car is over 10 years old and I couldn’t care less about that sort of thing, that’s not going to happen. I just laugh it off and they don’t push the subject. Overall, they’re a nice group of people and I recommend them to everyone.

UNTIL they charged me 150 bucks for a “diagnosis” of a problem my car was having which result was “we don’t really know”. So I paid 150 bucks for absolutely nothing, they did not fix or diagnose anything. Fantastic. I probably wont be going back.
